Join WSP, and you’ll be at the heart of a team of international experts all dedicated to growing and sharing their expertise and working on projects that transform society for all of us.Resident Engineer – Landscape will oversee and supervise all landscape architectural works for a major roads and infrastructure project under Ashghal.The role includes ensuring landscape designs are implemented in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and sustainability goals. This position requires coordination with multiple stakeholders including contractors, consultants, Ashghal representatives, and local authorities.Your new role, what's involved?Act as the site representative for all landscape-related works.Supervise the implementation of landscape architecture including softscape, hardscape, irrigation systems, and street furniture.Review and approve shop drawings, materials, and method statements related to landscape works.Monitor contractor’s performance to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and Ashghal standards.Conduct regular inspections and issue non-compliance reports where necessary.Coordinate with road, utility, and structural teams to ensure landscape works are integrated effectively.Liaise with Ashghal, consultants, and relevant government agencies as required.Provide technical guidance and resolution of design/construction issues on site.Ensure safety and environmental standards are adhered to during landscape activities.Participate in progress and coordination meetings with stakeholders.We'd love to hear from you if you have: Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in the GCC, preferably on Ashghal projects.Proven experience in roads and infrastructure landscape design and supervision.Strong knowledge of regional plant species, soil types, irrigation systems, and sustainable landscaping.Familiarity with Ashghal’s specifications and QCS (Qatar Construction Specifications).Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.MMUP/UPDA certification is preferred.What's in it for you?What if we can have work-life balance?
