Description
Responsibilities: Provides expertise for assessing spare parts capacity and operating supplies requirements of the project.Assists materials team by liaising with OPCO for the list of materials required.Cataloing and preparing spares material database for uploading to SAP-Materials Modules as part of Spares & Operating Supplies Team (SOST).Inspects materials received in warehouse to obtain additional/improved descriptions and latest Parts numbers.Reviews Recommended Spare Parts List (RSPL) for procedural correctness.Researches and retrieves the missing or incomplete information to meet Company standards.Reviews the created item for the improvements of buying texts during procurement process or warehouse inspection stage.Cross-checks existing SAP records and inventory for duplication including the use of Spares and SAP search functionalities.Updates RSPL and Project Material Master Form with comprehensive Technical Buying Description.Adheres to all Company safety, health, environmental and security procedures, rules and regulations.Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Engineering.Knowledge and / or Experience: Good SAP knowledge and in MM modules.Minimum of Eight (8) years’ experience in materials management, mainly in Oil and Gas industry.Good written and verbal communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
