SR. MECHANICAL DRAFTSMAN

Job Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and detailed shop drawings for mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing and firefighting. Develop coordination drawings integrating architectural structural and MEP services to ensure clash-free installation on site. Review design drawings and specifications to ensure compliance and constructability. Coordinate with engineers site teams and other draftsmen to meet project requirements and deadlines. Maintain version control of drawings and ensure timely submission of updated layouts. Ensure all drawings adhere to company drafting standards and UAE/GCC authority regulations. Modify and update drawings based on site instructions RFIs and mark-ups from the engineering team. Support site execution teams with necessary technical drawing inputs and clarifications. Key Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Engineering or relevant technical field. Minimum of 8 years of drafting experience with at least 5 years in contracting companies within the UAE/GCC. Strong expertise in Auto CAD and a solid understanding of mechanical systems. Proven experience in preparing coordination drawings for multi-disciplinary projects. Familiarity with UAE/GCC construction standards and authority guidelines.
