Fitter - Fabrication

We are seeking a skilled Fitter Fabrication to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Fitter Fabrication, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process interpreting blueprints and fabricating metal components with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine project specifications. Cut, shape, and form metal materials using various hand and power tools. Operate welding equipment to join metal components utilizing MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques. Assemble fabricated metal parts according to specifications. Measure and mark materials for cutting and shaping to ensure accuracy. Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to all safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule. Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment. Adapt to new fabrication techniques and technologies as required. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Welding certification (e.g. AWS) required. OSHA safety certification preferred. 3-5 years of experience in metal fabrication. Proficiency in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and arc welding. Excellent blueprint reading and interpretation skills. Experience with measuring and cutting tools and fabrication equipment. Knowledge of metallurgy and material properties. Familiarity with quality control standards in fabrication. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Commitment to workplace safety and following proper procedures.
