Day-to-day operations: Inspect the condition and wear limits on all mobile plant equipment, including pneumatic, foam-filled, and solid tyres and wheels.Regularly check pneumatic tyres' inflation pressure and fill them according to the manufacturer's recommendations.Report any damage, abnormal wear patterns, or multiple tyre/wheel problems on vehicles.Maintain good working relationships with workers, foremen, supervisors, and management.Perform duties of a Foreman as required or appointed for individual projects.Work within allocated timescales to meet department targets.Attend training sessions related to departmental activities.Inspect all outgoing vehicle tyres for condition and expiry date.Carry out tyre inspections during preventive maintenance and provide feedback to the foreman regarding replacements.Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas.Follow day-to-day operational procedures related to your job to ensure work continuity.Technical competencies: Basic knowledge of technical terms related to tyre expiry dates and tread patterns.Knowledge of using jacking and lifting equipment for tyre replacement.Familiarity with tyre replacement machines.Ability to repair tubeless tires and tubes.Apply appropriate engineering principles, techniques, and procedures.Minimum requirements: Secondary school education with a 6-month technical course or high school diploma.Shipyard training preferred.At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a shipyard.#J-18808-Ljbffr
