About This Role The Training Portal Scheduler is responsible for managing the scheduling and coordination of training programs and events within the training school based at the Naval Doctrine Combat Training Centre (NDCTC) at the NFI Naval Base in Taweelah. This role involves ensuring that all training sessions are efficiently scheduled, conflicts are minimized, and resources are effectively allocated. The Training Portal Scheduler will work closely with trainers, department heads, and UAE Navy personnel to support the organization's training objectives. Key Responsibilities: Scheduling Coordination Schedule training sessions, courses, and events within the Learning Management System (LMS). Coordinate with trainers and department heads to ensure availability and minimize scheduling conflicts. Manage and update the training calendar regularly to reflect any changes or additions. Resource Allocation Allocate training resources such as simulators, rooms, equipment, and materials to ensure all sessions are adequately supported. Track and manage the availability of training resources to prevent overbooking or shortages. Communication Communicate training schedules and any changes to relevant stakeholders promptly. Send reminders and notifications to participants about upcoming training sessions. Address any scheduling inquiries or issues from trainers and participants. Data Management Maintain accurate records of training schedules, attendance, and resource usage within the LMS. Generate and distribute reports on training activities, attendance, and resource utilization as needed. Ensure data integrity and consistency within the LMS. Collaboration and Support Work closely with the LMS Manager to support the overall training strategy and objectives. Assist trainers and department heads in planning and scheduling their training programs. Provide administrative support for the LMS, including troubleshooting scheduling issues and assisting users as needed. Continuous Improvement Identify and recommend improvements to the scheduling process and the LMS's functionality. Stay informed about best practices in training scheduling and resource management. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in scheduling, administrative support, or a similar role. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency with scheduling software and Learning Management Systems (LMS). Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and issues. Preferred Skills: Experience in a training or educational environment. Familiarity with e-learning platforms and training management systems. Knowledge of project management principles.
