Description
Must have adequate knowledge of the Construction Industry and Building materials. Added advantage if the candidate has experience in the construction chemicals industry. Perform and implement all strategic and business development activities of the Company to profitably grow all business units to a market leadership position. Develop relations with Key Clients with Contracting Companies, understand them thoroughly, understand their problems, and work out win-win solutions to resolve the problems or fill the gaps. Must work on continuously providing an overall view of the entire account, the people involved, the multiple roles they play, their influencer potential, the stakes that a complex account brings with it, and customer dynamics in order to take the right action at the right time. Job Requirements Key Tasks: Assist Key Account Head / Target Market Manager in the Area ME in implementing the relevant strategies and policies. Assist in developing new Markets and Geographical regions to open new sales opportunities for Chinese contractors to the Company. Establish new and maintain existing long-term relationships with Key customers. Analyze the potential and select key targets to ensure that plans turn into actions through agreed qualitative and quantified action plans. Networking and relationship building – supervise and provide strong support to existing and potential Key customers in all aspects of development across all Target Markets. Study and comprehend the technical aspects and advantages of the company’s product line to satisfy customers’ technical requirements. Establish relationships with Consultants, specifies, and client authorities and assist the specification process to include the Company’s products and systems. Ensure sales from targeted markets generate above-market growth and that the net result after cost provides an acceptable level of profit in line with the set budget and gross margin. Follow up on the established pricing policy together with the immediate supervisor. Negotiate, manage, and interpret customer requirements, offering a product or service that will best satisfy their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery, besides calculating client quotations, negotiating, and closing sales by agreeing on terms and conditions. Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance and product education, helping in the design of customer-made products, solving client problems, initiating corrective actions where necessary, and offering after-sales support services. Contribute towards a positive team environment and spirit with colleagues, supervisors, and subordinates. Coordinate with and assist other colleagues when needed in the interest of the company. Liaise with the business unit Manager / Key Account Head, Technical Services Department, and the Marketing Department for the promotion of the company’s products and image. Keep yourself updated on any market information, competitors, projects, and any other subject that could affect the company’s interest, including the monthly products expected sales forecast.
