MIG/ARC welder

Perform cutting, fitting, and welding of container components including side panels, rails, crossmembers, and corner posts. Execute major welding repairs using MIG welding techniques, ensuring adherence to industry and safety standards. Replace or section container floorboards using carpentry tools and techniques. Conduct repairs based on priority while ensuring quality and timely delivery. Maintain awareness and understanding of IICL (Institute of International Container Lessors) and cargo-worthy standards. Accurately assess damage, identify necessary spares, and complete repairs accordingly. Ensure all repair activities are completed within designated timeframes and comply with safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area Desired Candidate Profile Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a container repairing facility. Welding Skills: Proficient in MIG and ARC welding with valid certifications. Carpentry: Experience in container floorboard carpentry and repairs. Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with IICL and cargo-worthy repair standards and specifications.
