Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage a team of AC technicians and mechanics. - Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide technical guidance. - Conduct regular training sessions to ensure team members are up-to-date with the latest AC technologies and repair techniques. 2. *Maintenance & Repairs*: - Oversee the inspection, maintenance, and repair of bus AC systems. - Diagnose complex AC system issues and provide effective solutions. - Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and in compliance with safety standards. 3. *Quality Assurance*: - Conduct regular quality checks on AC systems to ensure optimal performance. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations and environmental standards. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities. 4. *Inventory & Resource Management*: - Manage inventory of AC parts, tools, and equipment. - Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of required materials. - Monitor and control maintenance costs within budget. - Work closely with other departments (e.g., operations, safety, and procurement) to ensure seamless bus operations. - Prepare and submit detailed reports on AC system performance, maintenance activities, and team productivity. - Provide recommendations for improving AC system efficiency and reducing downtime. 6. *Safety & Compliance*: - Ensure all AC maintenance and repair activities adhere to safety protocols and regulations. - Conduct safety briefings and ensure the use of proper protective equipment. - Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory changes related to bus AC systems. ### *Qualifications*: - *Education*: - Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in HVAC, automotive systems, or a related field is preferred. - *Experience*: - Minimum of 15 years of experience in AC maintenance and repair, preferably in the transportation or automotive industry. - At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or foreman role. - *Skills*: - Strong technical knowledge of bus AC systems and components. - Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex AC issues. - Excellent leadership and team management skills. - Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. - Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards. - *Certifications*: - HVAC certification or equivalent is highly desirable. - Valid driver’s license and clean driving record may be required. ### *Physical Requirements*: - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs). - Comfortable standing, bending, and working in tight spaces for extended periods.
