Electrician Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in various settings, ensuring safety and compliance with all relevant codes and regulations. Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine electrical system layouts. Install and maintain wiring, lighting fixtures, control systems, and other electrical components. Inspect electrical systems and equipment for malfunctions and safety hazards. Troubleshoot electrical problems using a variety of testing devices. Repair or replace faulty wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Install and maintain electrical panels, circuit breakers, transformers, and other distribution equipment. Adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all state and local building regulations. Ensure all installations and repairs are completed to a high standard and in compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as plumbers and building engineers. Provide estimates for electrical work and manage project timelines. Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used. Requirements: Proven experience as a qualified Electrician. Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Proficiency in using various electrical tools and testing equipment. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Valid electrician's license as required by local regulations. High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is preferred. Note: Job location is Dubai, UAE. Passport validity is mandatory for abroad visa processing.
