Job Description Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Reporting to the Shift Supervisor on work progress and completion. Handling refrigeration and A/C complaints, prioritizing guest room issues. Collaborating on preventive and annual maintenance programs. Following safety rules and departmental procedures. Reading building services, air-conditioning, refrigeration, and electrical drawings. Fault finding and repairing air-conditioning, refrigeration, and control systems; good electrical knowledge required. Knowledge of BMS systems, reciprocating chillers, air handling plants, and cold rooms. Participating in preventive maintenance and safety programs. Working independently and as part of a team, flexible approach. Understanding water treatment and chemical handling. Conducting inspections and maintaining guest room equipment. Coordinating electrical work with electricians. Maintaining refrigeration logs and temperature records. Assisting peers and keeping tools and work areas organized. Understanding Sofitel’s brand and standards. Participating in other projects as needed. Qualifications Secondary School plus Technical College or equivalent. Practical skills in fabrication, installation, and maintenance. Ability to do gas and arc welding. Good command of English.
