Description

Responsibilities: Greet guests consistently and professionally, providing a warm welcome or farewell. Assist guests promptly to enhance reputation for excellence and deliver courteous, efficient service to meet and exceed guest expectations, creating a lasting impression of warmth and hospitality. Maintain the uniform in good condition, clean, and presentable, and uphold standards of personal appearance and hygiene as a professional example for the team and guests. Ensure cleanliness throughout the entrance area and lobby, keeping no clutter or debris along escort routes or anywhere on hotel premises. Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, aiming for high customer satisfaction through personalized service from arrival to departure, and encourage guests to return. Greet guests personally by name when known, direct or escort guests to the reception as per LQA standards, and assist with directions or inquiries about hotel services and events to make guests feel welcomed and valued. Manage the main entrance door to welcome and bid farewell to guests, maintaining smooth traffic flow at curbside and driveway, coordinating guest movement in the lobby and entrance. Open car doors for arriving and departing guests, assist with luggage, and escort guests to the lobby or prearranged transport. Assist guests with taxi requests. Review arrivals and departures reports to anticipate guest needs, maintaining awareness of guest profiles through Opera PMS guest history. Actively seek guest feedback and preferences regarding hotel services, and initiate actions to maximize satisfaction. Forward guest complaints or problems to the guest relations manager. Stay informed about hotel information and local services, including operating hours, promotions, events, and attractions, to respond effectively to guest queries. Establish, promote, and maintain good public relations, enhancing hotel sales opportunities. Raise or lower national flags and/or the hotel flag as required. Coordinate with valet drivers to ensure cars are delivered within 10 minutes upon guest request. Adhere to all company and hotel rules and regulations at all times. Assist in any reasonable tasks requested by management, staff, or guests. Qualifications: Minimum 23 years of previous experience in the hotel industry preferred. Creative and passionate about customer service. Able to work in a high-pressure environment. Additional Information: Visa requirements: Must be eligible to live and work in Dubai.
