About the Opportunity We are seeking a Business Development Director for our international Institutional Business Development team. You will shape growth initiatives and drive institutional sales across the European region, focusing on identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities. You will collaborate with regional teams to enhance performance, provide tailored solutions for complex challenges, and mentor team members on effective sales strategies. The role involves optimizing client profiles to replicate past successes, securing high-value deals, and managing risk through strong, compliant client relationships. What You’ll Be Doing: Co-develop growth strategies with the European BD Team Leader and propose plans to achieve them. Identify and pursue institutional sales opportunities, building a pipeline by sourcing and converting prospects through consulting, education, planning, and advisory services in Europe. Identify skill gaps within regional teams and develop strategies to address them. Proactively propose solutions and collaborate with the PM team to customize and resolve complex issues for both yourself and the team. Guide team members in strategizing and prioritizing sales opportunities. Develop client profiles by identifying successful cases and creating repeatable efforts, directing marketing efforts accordingly. Provide feedback on client needs and gaps in service or product offerings to senior management and product teams, with suggested proposals. What We Look For In You Proven sales professional with a track record (quantified) of building pipelines, developing opportunities, and closing deals in Europe. Experience in both traditional finance (tradefi) and crypto markets. Deep understanding of the regional territory and how to build a high-value sales pipeline. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Extensive knowledge of our product offerings. High tenacity, grit, determination, and proactiveness.
