All other copies are uncontrolled.FORM: JOB DESCRIPTION EC-HR-F06 Job Title: QHSE Officer Department: QHSE Reporting To: QHSE Manager Site: EC JOB PURPOSE: The QSHE Officer (Quality, Safety, Health and Environment) works under the leadership of the company’s senior professionals. The role involves developing, improving, and implementing policies and procedures for monitoring all QSHE-related aspects of the company’s operations. The officer also provides training to employees, develops routine QSHE regulatory documents, and assists the company's personnel with corporate projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure all activities related to safety and environment are properly managed to prevent labor accidents. Implement and support all Company EHS policies and practices; responsible for overall Safety & Environment matters within the company premises and risk management. Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices; develop and report hazards, unsafe acts, or conditions to the Manager. Conduct daily safety checks, notify immediately of risks, and recommend corrective actions. Maintain, develop, and measure training results related to Environment, Health, and Safety. Track calibration certificates and high-risk equipment permits; develop and implement Health, Safety & Environment policies and procedures. Provide accurate injury/illness reports, manage injury/illness database, and perform trend analysis monthly. Ensure compliance with Environment & Safety regulations and internal/external customer requirements. Coordinate document control with departments for review, revision, or renewal of procedures, processes, flow charts, templates, and records. Monitor operation procedures, QA, EHS documents, and other critical records; coordinate vendor quality management. Perform other duties as assigned. SKILLS REQUIRED: Results orientation, customer focus, quality assurance, attention to detail, flexibility, and adaptability. Operational awareness, investigation skills, risk assessment, site surveys, numerical accuracy, HSE knowledge and practices, first aid knowledge. Understanding of ISO-9001 certification process is a plus. Proficiency in computing and English (oral and written). Time management, practical mindset, solution-oriented approach, communication and management skills, proactive attitude, and teamwork. QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related fields such as Industrial Management, Quality Management, Environment, Health, and Safety. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: 3 to 4 years of experience/knowledge in EHS and Quality Management. UAE Driving License is essential.
