At Waagner Biro, we are committed to achieving the extraordinary in every project.Learn more: Description We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment while ensuring compliance with local and international HSE regulations.Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions Provide HSE training and education to employees at all levels of the organization Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE programs and initiatives Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards Prepare and maintain HSE reports, documentation, and records Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging HSE trends Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in construction, oil and gas, or manufacturing industries NEBOSH or OSHA certifications preferred Comprehensive knowledge of HSE regulations and standards Proven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety training Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Proficiency in occupational health and safety software and Microsoft Office Suite Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to travel to various work sites as needed Additional Information HSE inspector/ Supervisor with 5 years experience, Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Other Industries Construction Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Egis by 2x Get notified about new Health Safety Environment Officer jobs in Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates .
