Supply Chain Trainee
Description
Major Functions Assist the Supply Chain team in coordinating various activities such as vendor pre-qualification, inventory analysis, and MIS reporting. Reports to the Manager – Supply Chain. Key Responsibilities Manage the vendor pre-qualification process and identify potential vendors aligned with the company's needs. Identify new potential suppliers and establish strategic relationships with key suppliers. Maintain a supplier evaluation system and coordinate with vendors to help improve their performance. Follow up with vendors to ensure orders are processed and deliveries are completed within due dates. Ensure QC requirements on deliveries, follow up with vendors, and close out any deviations and OSDR. Support warehouse, operations, and accounting teams with documentation and tracking information. Conduct inventory analysis, monitor consumption patterns, and support the development of procurement plans. Provide inputs to the Supply Chain Manager for developing procurement strategies. Identify best practices and drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes. Prepare MIS reports and analysis on spends and KPIs for management review. Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Compliance Ensure adherence to company HSEQ policies. Reporting and Communication Report to the Manager – Supply Chain. Maintain excellent teamwork and relationships with all Crescent staff. Continuous Improvement of Position Engage in ongoing skill development through training in logistics management. Minimum Qualification & Experience Bachelor’s degree in commerce or engineering; a diploma in logistics management or supply chain management is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
