Psychology Associate Professor

Job Description The School of Health Sciences & Psychology invites applications for faculty positions. The positions are full-time academic appointments to begin in August 2025. Responsibilities Oversee the design and development of the overall curriculum. Design, develop, and deliver a range of programmes of study at various levels. Teach undergraduate/graduate courses in the BA Psychology. Lead the development and clarification of academic standards and quality for the subject area. Support the development and implementation of the research strategy. Lead and coordinate research activity in the subject area. Manage research and other collaborative partnerships with educational institutions or external bodies. Publish research findings in internationally recognized outlets or disseminate using appropriate media. Research learning and teaching methodologies and share best practices within and outside the university. Address the individual needs of students, ensuring support and accessibility. Develop internal and external networks to foster collaboration and promote the university. Participate in relevant networks and forums. Promote the university’s work nationally and internationally. Contribute to research quality and field development through quality assurance, external decision-making, and involvement in professional bodies. Perform other duties aligned with the department’s mission. Act as an ambassador for Canadian University Dubai during off-campus professional activities. Qualifications and Experience Ph D in Psychology or related specialization from a reputable university. 5-10 years of teaching experience at higher education institutions. Expertise in advanced research methods. Strong research track record. Preference for candidates with Canadian educational background or professional practice in Canada.
