Job Description The School of Health Sciences & Psychology invites applications for faculty positions. The positions are full-time academic appointments to begin in August 2025. Responsibilities Oversee the design and development of the overall curriculum. Design, develop, and deliver a range of programmes of study at various levels. Teach undergraduate/graduate courses in Environmental Science/Environmental Management. Lead the development and clarification of academic standards and quality for the subject area. Support the development and implementation of the research strategy. Lead and coordinate research activity in the subject area. Manage research and collaborative partnerships with other educational institutions or external bodies. Publish research findings in internationally recognized journals or disseminate them using appropriate media. Research learning and teaching methodologies and share best practices within the university and externally. Address the needs of individual students, ensuring they are supported and aware of available resources. Develop networks to foster collaboration and promote the university and its subject area. Participate in relevant internal and external networks and associations. Promote and market the university's work nationally and internationally. Contribute to research quality enhancement and participate in quality assurance, external decision-making, and subject groups. Perform other duties necessary to fulfill the department's mission. Serve as an ambassador for Canadian University Dubai when engaged in off-campus professional duties. Qualifications and Experience Ph D in Environmental Science/Management or related specialization from a top 500 university. 5-10 years of teaching experience at higher education institutions. Proficiency in advanced research methods. Strong research record. Preference for applicants with Canadian educational background and/or professional practice in Canada.
