HR Business Partner The Testing & Packing Line Leader is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the testing and packing lines to ensure efficient operations. This role involves managing day-to-day activities, maintaining quality standards, and meeting production targets. The Testing & Packing Line Leader works closely with the Assembly Shop Manager to support overall production goals and improve processes. Responsibilities Production Management Supervise daily operations of the testing and packing lines to ensure production schedules are met. Assign tasks and responsibilities to testing and packing line workers. Monitor the testing and packing lines to ensure efficiency and productivity. Ensure all testing and packing activities are performed according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Quality Control Implement and enforce quality control standards and procedures on the testing and packing lines. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure product quality. Address and resolve any quality issues promptly to maintain high standards. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement continuous improvement initiatives. Process Optimization Identify opportunities to improve testing and packing processes and reduce waste. Implement lean manufacturing techniques and other efficiency improvements. Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and develop solutions. Optimize testing and packing line operations to maximize throughput and minimize downtime. Team Leadership and Development Lead, coach, and mentor testing and packing line workers to enhance performance and productivity. Develop and implement training programs for testing and packing line staff. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the team. Safety and Compliance Ensure all testing and packing activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for staff. Promote a safe and healthy work environment. Resource Management Manage the allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment for the testing and packing lines. Ensure the availability of necessary materials and components for production runs. Coordinate with the procurement team to manage inventory levels. Oversee the maintenance and calibration of testing and packing equipment. Collaboration and Communication Collaborate with other departments, such as R&D, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain, to ensure alignment on production goals. Communicate testing and packing line plans and performance metrics to the Assembly Shop Manager and other stakeholders. Represent the testing and packing lines in cross-functional meetings and projects. Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate and up-to-date testing and packing line records and documentation. Prepare regular reports on testing and packing line performance, including productivity, quality, and safety metrics. Document any deviations from standard operating procedures (SOPs) and report them to the appropriate personnel. Assist in the creation and revision of work instructions and process documentation. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or associate degree in electronics, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in testing and packing line operations, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role. Extensive experience in the microelectronics or electronics manufacturing industry. Proven track record of managing testing and packing line operations and achieving efficiency improvements. Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting testing and packing equipment. Knowledge of electronic component testing and packaging processes. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies. Experience with ERP systems and production management software. Understanding of industry standards and best practices for electronic assembly.
