AUT Operator
Description
Minimum Roles and Responsibilities (but not limited to): Take all necessary precautions to protect the environment. Work safely to ensure personal safety and that of co-workers, using proper protective equipment. Participate in company training programs as required by management. Attend daily toolbox talks and follow instructions from site coordinators or crew leaders. Use and maintain all safety devices and tools provided for the job. Maintain and properly use tools under their control, using the right tools for each task. Assist fellow employees with safety practices and requirements. Report for work in appropriate clothing and jewelry that do not pose hazards. Perform work safely and alertly, being aware of potential unseen dangers. Prioritize safety over task completion, avoiding risking personal or others' safety. Keep work areas clean and maintain good housekeeping. Perform AUT, Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing, and TOFD as per approved procedures. Perform calibrations and demonstrations according to project-specific procedures. Interpret code requirements related to AUT, PAUT, and TOFD. Prepare scan plans using ES beam tools or NDT setup builders, collect PAUT data, and interpret results using Omni PC or Tomoview. Prepare final inspection reports following procedural requirements. Perform inspection activities aligned with project scope and site conditions to optimize resources. Troubleshoot issues with AUT, Phased Array, and TOFD systems to support maintenance engineers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
