Position: Accountant (Building Contracting Industry) Location: Business Bay, Dubai UAE Job Description: As an Accountant at KEA Building Contracting, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations related to building contracting projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and regulatory compliance in the UAE. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and contribute to the overall success of our projects. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Manage project budgets, costs, and financial documentation. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements. Collaborate with project managers and other departments to monitor and control project finances. Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts. Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CMA) is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in the Building Contracting industry in the UAE. Knowledge of UAE taxation laws and regulations. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
