IT Engineer

Zahr Freighters is seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Engineer to join our operations in Dubai. This position is ideal for a technology-driven professional with strong problem-solving abilities and a deep understanding of IT systems, hardware, and software infrastructure. As a logistics and freight forwarding company, our operations rely heavily on seamless IT support to ensure timely communication, tracking, and management of services across our global network. The IT Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, including computer systems, servers, networks, and databases. You will oversee system installations, conduct regular troubleshooting, perform upgrades, and ensure cybersecurity protocols are consistently followed. The role also includes providing technical support to staff, resolving software and hardware issues, and collaborating with other departments to implement technology solutions that improve workflow and efficiency. To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 3–5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in network administration, system integration, and cybersecurity practices is essential. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and have strong communication skills to support both technical and non-technical users.
