MEP Project Engineer – Facility Management

Diploma(Electrical, Mechanical), Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Electrical, Mechanical) Nationality Any Nationality Male Vacancy 1 Vacancy Job Description Role Summary The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and supervising mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works across assigned projects. The incumbent will ensure timely delivery, adherence to technical standards, and coordination with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities Review MEP designs, shop drawings, and material submissions to ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations. Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems. Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and project teams for design integration and site execution. Design and draft MEP systems, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing using Auto CAD and or Revit. Develop 2D and 3D MEP layouts for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. Coordinate and collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems with overall building design. Conduct site visits and assessments to collect technical data for design and ensure implementation accuracy. Perform load calculations, system sizing, and prepare BOQs - Bill of Quantities- and technical specifications. Ensure designs comply with relevant local codes, standards, and regulations. Participate in design reviews and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor site progress, conduct inspections, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. Troubleshoot site execution issues related to MEP services and provide timely solutions. Maintain documentation for MEP work approvals, inspections, and handovers. Liaise with subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure smooth execution. Ensure all MEP installations comply with Dubai Municipality and other local authority requirements. Prepare periodic progress and compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders. Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant MEP engineering experience in construction or fit-out projects Proven experience in the UAE or GCC region, with knowledge of local authority regulations Experience working with consultants, subcontractors, and project execution teams. Hands - on experience on engineering design software's such as Auto CAD Valid UAE driving license. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical engineering or a related field Desired Candidate Profile Strong technical understanding of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems Familiarity with local building codes and authority approval processes e.g. DEWA, DCD Proficiency in reviewing MEP drawings and coordinating with other disciplines.
