Construction / Installation / O&M Energy Solutions Permanent Full - Time Job Title: Department: Facility Management Reporting To: Site: ES- Job Purpose: Employee performs skilled, complex work in the repair, maintenance and installation of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and steam distribution equipment and energy management systems. Key Responsibilities: · Investigates problems and performs repairs on various mechanical and electrical equipment in heating, cooling and ventilation systems. · Performs preventative maintenance on various mechanical and electrical equipment in heating and cooling systems. · Monitors and inspects heating and cooling systems to ensure continued proper operation. · Install and maintain diverse heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems · Lay out wires and pipes to complete HVAC systems · Perform general and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems · Ensure that all installations are done in accordance to the set standards · Make sure that any loose wires are connected and secured properly · Ensure calibration of thermostats and other controls · Perform checks on motors and belts and handle lubrication duties · Change filters and replace any parts as they wear out · Ensure that chemical compositions in equipment are adequate at all times · Handle conduit running for HVAC equipment · Order any supplies or equipment needed for HVAC maintenance or installation as needed · Ensure availability of all items needed for an HVAC project · Respond to emergency situations in order to resolve issues on an immediate basis · Handle maintenance of tools and equipment · Replace faulty or expired parts in an HVAC system · Fabricate parts in case parts are not readily available · Following building policies and standard · Ensure that fire alarm system of the building all secure · Update Chilled water reading · Make sure the treatment of chilled water chemical QHSE · Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and not to put other persons - fellow employees and members of the public - at risk by what you do or don't do in the course of your work; · Cooperate with any company efforts to improve health and safety at work; · Comply with any reasonable instruction given to you in the interest of health and safety. · Not to interfere with or misuse anything that's provided for your health, safety or welfare · Report any accidents, injuries or illnesses you may suffer as a result of doing your work, or any accidents, injuries or illnesses you become aware off that involves a fellow employee or member of the public at your place of work. SKILLS REQUIRED: · Strong background in reading and interpreting instructions and safety procedures associated with HVAC processes · Solid knowledge of using hand and power tools · Experienced in handling electronic and mechanical systems effectively · Exceptional knowledge of providing technical assistant with the design and implementation of HVAC systems. Qualifications: · Knowledge of commercial mechanical and electrical systems. · Knowledge of blueprints. · Ability to repair systems. · Diploma/ITI in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning. Other Requirements: · Minimum 3 to 5 experience within the maintenance services market sector. · Fluent Written and spoken English.
