Description
Responsibilities Responsibility for the safety and security of all crew members, passengers, and cargo on board. Responsibility for the operation and safety of the aircraft from the moment it is ready to move for taxiing prior to take-off until it comes to rest at the end of the flight and the engines are shut down. Take all reasonable measures to ensure all persons onboard obey lawful commands to secure the safety of the aircraft and its occupants or property. Operate efficiently in accordance with company fuel policies. Ensure on-time performance. Qualifications To be considered, candidates must meet the following criteria: A minimum of 7000 hours total flying time. A minimum of 2500 PIC hours on multi-crew, glass cockpit (1) jet aircraft. A minimum of 1500 PIC hours on any Airbus wide-body FBW. Type rating on any Airbus FBW valid for at least 2 months at the time of joining. Unrestricted and current ICAO ATPL. Recent flying experience on any Airbus FBW within the last 12 months. If current on A320, a previous type-rating of A350/A380 is required. Unrestricted and current Class 1 medical. Maximum age of 59 years at the date of joining. English language fluency (written and verbal) Level 4 or higher. For hours accumulated on flights with inflight relief, 75% of the total hours will be counted towards the minimum. Experience with Glass Cockpit aircraft with FMS coupled to APFDS.
