Position: Design Manager - Kidswear (Girlswear and Boyswear) Location: Dubai We are looking for candidates only from Spain, Turkey, Europe, UK, Brazil, etc. Kindly share resumes with portfolio at Job Description The job holder will be responsible for supporting the Design Head in developing and executing innovative and commercially viable designs, analyzing changes in market demand for the product group and developing new product lines in the area of private label development and specifying product design parameters and standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Product Design Budgeting Support the product development process by sourcing materials, trims, and embellishments for design concepts, ensuring adherence to cost targets and quality standards. Effectively communicate with vendors to review samples, provide feedback, and resolve issues related to product development Ensure all design and development activities are carried out within budget Develop product/packing material sourcing plans that ensure cost reduction 2. Product Research Assist the Design Head in identifying consumer preferences and trends and translating them into styles and products that relate to their needs Research global markets in order to identify new trends, fabrics, techniques, etc Gather information from Industry trade groups or through trade shows or market research 3. Product Design Define the product architecture and key steps in the process of product design and development Participate in conceptual development of product lines (i.e., sell ideas/concepts and convince others to adopt course of action). Ensure that product is consistent with market trends as well as relates to market demands, company image and business strategy. Oversee brand clarity and parity to ensure consistency of brands across businesses. Provide recommendations regarding seasonal themes, edits to line, new concepts, etc. Provide insights regarding style and fit of product 4.
