Electrician

Company: Al Khaimah General Maintenance LLC Location: United Arab Emirates Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Project Manager Job Summary: The Electrician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The role requires hands-on technical expertise and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service. Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings and structures. Diagnose electrical problems using diagrams, blueprints, testing devices, and fault-finding tools. Ensure all electrical installations and repairs comply with relevant codes and safety regulations. Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed. Install and maintain electrical control systems, including lighting, HVAC, and security systems. Collaborate with other technicians, supervisors, and contractors for project execution. Maintain logs, reports, and documentation related to maintenance activities. Follow all company safety protocols and wear PPE at all times on-site. Respond promptly to maintenance calls and provide high-quality customer service. Requirements: Proven experience as an electrician in general maintenance or facility management. Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and electrical equipment. Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints. Familiar with UAE regulations and DEWA/SEWA/FEWA guidelines is an advantage. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision. Good communication and teamwork skills. Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and working at heights. Education & Certification: High school diploma or technical certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Valid Electrician license or equivalent certification (preferred). Safety certification (e.g., HSE or OSHA) is a plus.
