To assist the Compliance Manager and to ensure Trident Trust remains compliant with all relevant regulatory and anti-money laundering legislation, including internal policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Duties: Contribute to the development of an effective compliance culture with appropriate policies and procedures that reflect current regulatory and AML Legislations Undertake day-to-day compliance tasks Provide AML guidance across departments such as Business Development, Corporate Services, and Fund Administration Carry out AML review for client onboarding Perform AML periodic file reviews and Customer Risk Assessments STR/SAR review and assessment Assist with Business AML Risk Assessment Assist with preparation of weekly and quarterly compliance reports Assist in preparing AML Returns and other regulatory returns Sanctions monitoring, including alerts review Compliance monitoring to ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures and AML obligations, including sample checks, maintenance of registers as required under the DFSA Rules, etc. Remain up to date, interpret and disseminate information about regulatory and AML Legislation changes and work with the Senior Compliance Manager to ensure policies, procedures, and compliance tools are adapted to accommodate any such changes Assist with policies and procedures reviews Assist with AML training preparation and delivery Undertake employee screening and checks as and when requested to by the HR Department Assisting with FATCA/CRS due diligence and reporting Undertake any compliance related projects that may arise from time to time, involvement will be dependent on availability and the skill set required for each project Ensure accurate timesheet completion for correct timely billing Undertake such other tasks as may reasonably be requested by the Senior Compliance Manager Devote adequate time to discharge their responsibilities Act as back-up for the CO & MLRO Qualifications and experience required: Relevant professional qualifications, alternatively, an employee may be qualified by experience Applicants should have started or undertaken to start a professional qualification (ACAMS/ICSA/STEP) or equivalent At least five (5) years’ working experience in a similar position within a corporate services provider and/or fund administration environment Skills required: Strong understanding of AML regulatory frameworks Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical abilities High degree of professional ethics and integrity Ability to communicate well and effectively, verbally and in writing, to a diverse audience Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with tact and confidence in dealing with people at all levels, both internally and externally Build and maintain close and effective working relationships with colleagues Seniority level Seniority level Associate Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Legal, Finance, and Research Industries Financial Services, Business Consulting and Services, and Government Relations Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Trident Trust by 2x Get notified about new Compliance Officer jobs in Dubai, United Arab Emirates .
