Posted on 06/22/2025 We are recruiting a Draftsman – MEP for our client, a leading building materials company in Abu Dhabi, UAE.About Our Client: Our client is a well-established wholesale supplier of building materials based in Abu Dhabi, serving contractors, developers, and construction companies across the UAE. They offer a wide range of high-quality products that meet the demands of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed Revit models and drawings for MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection) and interior fit-outs (partitions, ceilings, finishes, and furniture) Generate shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings in compliance with project standards Convert hand sketches, markups, or CAD files into accurate BIM models Ensure all models adhere to the BIM execution plan Coordinate with engineers and contractors to refine ductwork layouts, piping schematics, lighting plans, and electrical systems Produce fit-out drawings, including material schedules, joinery details, and reflected ceiling plans Requirements Experience in drafting ductwork, piping, electrical layouts, fire protection systems, and lighting plans Ability to produce shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings for fit-out projects (e.g., ceilings, partitions, and finishes) Proficiency in Revit for creating detailed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and interior fit-out drawings Strong knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling)Employee Benefits as per the UAE Labour Law #J-18808-Ljbffr
