Job Function IT - Software Top Management Skillset AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Dev Ops Preferred Jobseekers Jobseekers from any GCC country As the Head of Cloud and Dev Ops, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive cloud and Dev Ops strategy and services framework to support the group's digital transformation journey. You will collaborate closely with business units and subsidiaries to drive adoption of cloud technologies and Dev Ops practices, enabling agility, scalability, and efficiency in our operations ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Strategy Development and Execution: - Define and articulate a clear vision and roadmap for cloud adoption and Dev Ops transformation aligned with the group's strategic objectives.- Develop and implement policies, standards, and governance frameworks to ensure consistent and secure cloud and Dev Ops practices across the organization.2. Cloud Architecture and Infrastructure Management: - Evaluate cloud service providers and technologies to determine the most suitable solutions for the group's diverse business needs.- Design and architect cloud infrastructure and platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.- Oversee the implementation and management of cloud environments, including migration, provisioning, monitoring, and optimization.3. Dev Ops Implementation and Automation: - Lead the adoption of Dev Ops methodologies and practices to streamline software development, deployment, and operations processes.- Establish CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code practices to enable rapid and reliable delivery of applications and services.- Drive cultural change and collaboration between development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to foster a Dev Ops mindset and continuous improvement culture.4. Team Leadership and Talent Development: - Build and mentor a high-performing team of cloud architects, Dev Ops engineers, and automation specialists.- Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the Cloud and Dev Ops team and across the organization.5. Vendor Management and Partnership: - Establish strategic partnerships with cloud service providers, technology vendors, and consulting firms to leverage industry best practices and innovative solutions.- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements to ensure quality of service and value for the organization.RELATED YEARS OF EXPERIENCEMinimum of 10 years of experience in cloud architecture, Dev Ops, and IT leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving cloud adoption and Dev Ops transformation in large organizations.YOE IN MANAGERIAL POSITIONMin of: 4+ years of managerial experience in a related field FIELD OF EXPERIENCEDigital products delivery, Tech & e Commerce Pure Players, Prop Tech TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLSDeep understanding of cloud computing technologies and services (Azure preferred), Dev Ops tools and practices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform), and software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
