Internal Auditor – Government (Arabic Speaker)

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our team, supporting internal audit activities across government sector . The ideal candidate will be fluent in Arabic and English and hold a professional certification (ACCA, CA, CIA, or CPA). This role involves assessing internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulations, evaluating operational efficiency, and providing strategic insights to improve governance and accountability. Key Responsibilities: Plan, execute, and report on internal audits in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies. Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. Conduct compliance reviews and ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and donor requirements. Identify and document audit findings, risks, and recommendations for process improvement. Collaborate with departments to understand business processes and propose practical control solutions. Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions. Prepare clear and concise audit reports for senior management and stakeholders. Support external audits and coordinate with regulatory or funding bodies as needed. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of audit best practices, public sector regulations, and international financial standards. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least one of the following certifications: ACCA, CA, CIA, or CPA (mandatory ). Minimum (6) years of internal audit experience, preferably in government or non-profit sectors. Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is required. Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards, risk assessment, and control frameworks. High attention to detail, integrity, and analytical thinking. Excellent communication and report writing skills.
