Key Responsibilities The Proposal Lead – Proposal & Estimation will oversee the proposal department, managing the preparation, submission, and management of commercial proposals for oil & gas projects. The role involves aligning technical and commercial aspects, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance proposal competitiveness and meet business goals. Proposal Management & Leadership Lead the proposal team in preparing, reviewing, and submitting proposals, ensuring compliance with client and industry standards. Coordinate with technical teams to align specifications and documentation. Develop strategies to improve proposal competitiveness. Manage daily proposal operations, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Proposal Process & Administration Manage client inquiries, allocate project numbers, and maintain job registers. Ensure timely technical input and perform quality assurance checks before submission. Documentation & Compliance Prepare proposal documentation, maintain organized records, and assist with pre-qualification documents. Track tender deadlines and ensure timely submission of all required documents. Address client clarifications post-submission. Costing & Contract Management Prepare cost summaries and review client contracts for alignment with proposals. Communicate discrepancies for correction. Reporting & Coordination Prepare monthly tender reports and assist in pre-qualification and sales tracking. Collaborate with finance to forecast costs and profitability. Team & Stakeholder Support Manage correspondence, facilitate approvals, and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the proposal process. Work Conditions & Skills Proficiency in MS Office and proposal management tools; knowledge of compliance and regulations. Candidate Profile Qualifications: Bachelor's in Engineering, Business, or related; Master’s preferred. Experience: Minimum 12 years in proposal preparation, estimation, and costing within offshore oil & gas or energy sectors. Proven track record in managing proposals from inception to submission, understanding contract terms, technical specifications, and project lifecycle.
