Telecom Sales Channel Manager
Description
Responsibilities: Contact and collaborate with key partners in the process of customizing services and support solutions for target enterprise customers. Identify and contact new partners according to client’s strategies. Introduce products and value proposition to partners. Participate in sales presentations, and attend customer meetings with partners. Prepare and plan marketing initiatives on a quarterly basis. Obtain partners’ target sales revenues within the specified area. Be responsible for executing the rules and regulations and understanding the trend of technical knowledge. Use relationship management techniques to develop selling opportunities within partner organizations; penetrate new divisions and organizations within assigned partner account; develop new selling relationships within assigned partner account; develop new direct selling opportunities. Develop channel management plan and channel mapping including top channels in the region, sales volume as well as price strategy of major vendor. Utilizing a consultative approach, discuss business issues with prospects and develop a formal quote, a written sales proposal or a formal sales presentation addressing their business needs. Recommend marketing strategies. Provide status information to your Manager including forecast/pipeline information. Minimum Requirements: Years of experience in the enterprise market field related to channel partners. Firm grasp of at least one type of practical knowledge of Networking, IT, UC&C products of Huawei, Cisco, HP, IBM, EMC, Net App, Juniper, etc. Deep understanding of the management and operation of the field support; good personal relationships and communication skills both on telephone and face to face. Strong verbal and written communications skills including presentation skills. Familiarity with UAE and KSA countries' Channel market; ability to analyze market including price, competition, target channel partner, and sales volume. Ability to work collaboratively with employees within the sales function and across functions including Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, and Product Development. Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques. Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems. Ability to communicate with senior managers about their business challenges and solutions. Experience using contact management software. Track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in contiguous, multiple years. 3+ years channel sales experience; related experience in the vendor or distributor from Cisco, HP, IBM, EMC, Net App, Juniper, channel sales is preferred. Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.
