Due to the continued success of our Middle East operations, we are looking for a Resident Engineer for our Abu Dhabi operations. Responsibilities Lead development of the strategy, design, and implementation of enhanced I&C and Telecommunication systems, collaborating closely with the client. Design, document, and manage the implementation of essential I&C and Telecommunication systems for transmission water networks, providing technical advice on SCADA and control systems. Act as the lead problem solver, incorporating industry standards and modern technology into the systems. Review and comment on system drawings, schematics, and protocols. Represent the client in design meetings, suggest solutions, and coordinate with consultants on method statements. Develop and upgrade design and implementation standards to stay current with evolving SCADA design methods. Review design, material submittals, and drawings for the entire SCADA system, including site locations and control rooms. Qualifications 4-year engineering degree (Electrical, Electronic, or similar); PE certification preferred. 10+ years experience in designing, implementing, and managing SCADA control systems in water utility industries. Hands-on experience with major projects, including at least 4 major SCADA projects. Experience in the design and integration of SCADA systems for water pumping stations and networks. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work with multicultural teams. Proven technical leadership, documentation skills, and industry knowledge.
