Expires in 2 months Position: Whole School Vice Principal GEMS Our Own English High School - Al Ain is seeking an outstanding, innovative Whole School Vice Principal to join the team in August 2025. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Embracing and encouraging the ethos and standards of excellence as defined in the GEMS Core Values. Leading effective monitoring and development of the SEF and SDP. Leading curriculum development and adaptation to meet the needs of all students. Managing performance and professional development plans. Overseeing high standards across Primary and Secondary phases. Managing budgets and performing teaching and professional duties as delegated by the Principal. Supporting school improvement, evaluation, planning, policies, and procedures, including taking full/sharing responsibility in the Principal's absence. Being an integral part of the leadership team. Promoting the school to stakeholders and engaging actively in the school community. Leading and managing key aspects of the school under the Principal's direction. Enhancing standards in academic performance, student care, and well-being. Leading professional development to ensure high-quality teaching and learning. Assisting with the effective use of management information systems and financial management, including admissions and enrolment. Skills Excellent team player within and across phases. Strong IT and interpersonal communication skills. Proficient in English. Master’s Degree in Education or relevant field with a teaching qualification. Minimum of 10 years’ educational experience, including at least 5 years in leadership within a CBSE or dual curriculum school in the UAE. NPQH or other relevant senior leadership qualifications (desirable). GEMS Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students and staff.
