Purchasing Specialist (Dry Fleet)
Description
Job Purpose: Undertake purchase activities, tender and contract evaluation, place orders and monitor delivery to provide the right products and services across MSML business unit. Negotiate with various suppliers to obtain maximum discount without compromising quality. Key Accountabilities: Process Identify competitive sources of quality goods and services. Prepare and submit RFP's. Ensure proper negotiation of terms and pricing to approve, prepare and process purchase orders. Compliance Ensure purchase order compliance with procurement policies, procedures and communication protocols at all times and resolve discrepancies. Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relations with vendors and service providers to ensure seamless business support. Concepts and Policies Adopt and apply new professional strategies and policies within the area of responsibility in accordance with management directions. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Administration or equivalent. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience. Certification in CPP (Certified Purchasing Professional) is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
