Design Technical Lead

Our portfolio spans across Dubai’s prime residential and commercial destinations, showcasing our commitment to transparency, customer centricity, quality, integrity and adding value through a construction-driven approach.With some of our exciting launches such as Burj Azizi (the second tallest tower in the world), Monaco Mansions and Azizi Venice – Dubai’s new luxurious Venetian-inspired waterfront community, we are rapidly expanding our capabilities in our Design 360 Studio, where our team seamlessly integrate Architecture, Structures, MEP, Landscape, Interiors and Supervision to deliver a variety of innovative and value driven real estate assets.As a Lead Technical Architect reporting to the Design Manager- Hospitality, working from our Design Studio at the Al Hudaiba Awards office in Dubai, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical development of architectural projects, ensuring compliance with local authority submission requirements, and aligning designs with project goals. This role involves managing technical documentation, resolving design challenges, and coordinating with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality, constructible designs.Responsibilities Include Lead the technical development of projects across all design stages, with a focus on authority submission and compliance. Review and approve detailed design drawings, ensuring accuracy and constructability. Coordinate technical aspects with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve design and construction challenges. Ensure all technical documentation adheres to local authority codes and standards. Demonstrate a strong understanding of major international codes and standards (e.g., IBC, NFPA, ASHRAE, LEED, etc.), ensuring technical documentation meets global compliance requirements where applicable. Manage and mentor technical design teams to meet project objectives. Conduct regular reviews to maintain design quality and compliance. Coordinate with HOD to align with targets and design compliance Ensure Design comply with the Concept design intent Here's What You'll Need Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the field should know DTCM, FLS Code, FPA, IPC and can read contracts Should have worked on a minimum of 8 city hotel projects. Certification in BIM workflows preferred. Dubai Municipality Registration preferred. Should be proficient in Revit & Autocad Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Strong leadership and decision-making abilities. Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects concurrently.
