Diploma(Mechanical), Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Mechanical) Nationality Any Nationality Any Vacancy Job Description Job Title: QA/QC Inspector – Mechanical (Rotating & Static Equipment)Location: ADNOC Project Site, UAEEmployment Type: Full-time / Contract-based Job Purpose: To ensure all mechanical works related to rotating and static equipment installation and inspection on ADNOC plant construction projects are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and project quality plans. The inspector will play a key role in ensuring adherence to ADNOC’s quality requirements. Key Responsibilities: Perform inspection and monitoring of mechanical works related to rotating (pumps, compressors, turbines) and static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, boilers) . Review and interpret engineering drawings, isometrics, datasheets, P&IDs, and technical specifications. Ensure equipment is installed and aligned per manufacturer specifications and project procedures (shaft alignment, grouting, soft foot, etc.). Witness equipment testing such as hydrostatic testing, pneumatic testing, mechanical run tests, and alignment checks . Monitor welding, fabrication, assembly, and erection of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with WPS, PQR, and project specifications. Verify material certificates, inspection and test reports (ITRs), and documentation as per ITPs. Coordinate with construction and engineering teams to address NCRs, punch points, and QA/QC-related issues. Liaise with third-party inspectors, ADNOC representatives, and client QA/QC personnel for inspections and approvals. Maintain and update all QA/QC records and documentation in accordance with ADNOC standards. Support mechanical completion and handover process including final dossier compilation. Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications & Experience: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in mechanical QA/QC within oil & gas, petrochemical, or power plant projects. At least 3 years of experience working on ADNOC or similar oil & gas major client projects. Strong knowledge of international codes and standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, ISO . Familiarity with ADNOC specifications, quality standards, and documentation requirements. Certification in CSWIP 3.1, AWS-CWI, API, or equivalent (advantageous). Proficient in using inspection tools and software for reporting and documentation. Strong communication and report writing skills.
