Spray Painter

To be responsible for applying paint and coatings to various products and surfaces, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications. Principal Accountabilities: Experienced with various coatings, pre-work and ensuring defined production standards, schedules, and quality requirements. Work to defined industry & production standards, schedules, and quality requirements. Prepare surfaces in advance of painting by pressure washing, sanding, scraping, and cleaning. Paint walls and ceilings using spray equipment. Perform touch-up work, correct imperfections, and patch holes. Use ladders and scaffolding to reach high areas. Mask off windows, doors, and other surfaces. Use drop cloths to cover floors, fixtures, and furnishings. Measure and calculate materials needed and appropriate quantities. Support the quality assurance department with respect to quality assurance evaluation of painted products. Operate other production equipment and perform tasks necessary to complete product specification and quality requirements. Prepare & set up necessary tools and equipment for painting processes. Propose potential quality or productivity enhancements, i.e., continual improvements. Report production issues and assist in resolutions as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
