Duties and Responsibilities : Policy Development & Compliance : Assist in creating and implementing internal health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. Risk Assessment & Audits : Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Training & Awareness : Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and regulatory requirements. Incident Investigation : Investigate accidents and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. Emergency Preparedness : Organize and oversee emergency response drills, including evacuations and first-aid procedures. Regulatory Liaison : Act as a liaison with governmental bodies and ensure adherence to local and international safety standards. Reporting & Documentation : Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and compliance audits. Required Qualifications Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Certifications : Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or ISO 14001/45001 are highly desirable. Experience : 2–5 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing industry. Technical Skills : Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, audits, and using safety management Soft Skills : Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
