WSP Middle East is seeking a dynamic Assistant Resident Engineer Electrical responsible for overseeing and managing electrical engineering projects within the ADDC or AADC domain. They will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are executed according to specifications, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. WSP is also looking for a Principal Resident Engineer who is accountable for the operational performance, technical and people leadership of the project supervision team and electrical power network team projects for WSP in UAE and beyond. Your new role, what's involved? Define Electrical Engineering strategies and undertake feasibility works across numerous project types in UAE. Develop technical solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity and creativity. Review and check project documentation in accordance with QA procedures. Lead the project and undertake line manager responsibility for the project supervision team. Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies. Ensure effective utilization of resources at the right times, including engaging with the Complimentary Resource Centers (CRCs) to improve communication, design, and review processes to meet quality and target standards. We'd love to hear from you if you have: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus. Proven experience as a Resident Engineer Electrical in large infrastructure or construction projects. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices. Excellent project management and leadership skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Innovative mindset, eager to challenge norms and find new ways to achieve quality work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of local and international construction codes and regulations. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. AADC or ADDC experience is mandatory. What's in it for you?
