Urban Planner

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Urban Planner with 10+ years of experience and a Master’s degree in Urban Planning or a related field to join our team. The successful candidate will lead urban development projects, analyze land use, and create innovative plans that align with sustainability and community growth. Responsibilities: Develop urban plans for residential, commercial, and public spaces. Conduct land use and environmental impact analyses. Create zoning regulations and review development proposals. Design and optimize transportation and infrastructure layouts. Use GIS and planning tools to prepare maps and reports. Collaborate with stakeholders and conduct community consultations. Monitor urban projects to ensure compliance with plans and policies. Requirements: Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, or related field. 10+ years of experience in urban planning, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Valid professional licenses, such as DM Unlimited License or equivalent in urban planning/engineering. Certifications in sustainability or urban development (e.g., LEED, PMP) are preferred. Proficiency in GIS, Auto CAD, Sketch Up, and urban planning software. Comprehensive knowledge of zoning laws, building codes, and environmental regulations.
