Senior Associate – Master Planning

Job Purpose: • Assist in the development of master planning activities across all master planning projects to ensure adherence to standards and cost effectiveness. Please note, this role is for a UAE Emiratization only. Roles and Responsibilities: PRE MASTER PLAN Provide master planning input on feasibility / test fits based on inputs as per the project brief and client’s requirements. Provide input and innovative ideas to the master planning scheme. Manage the creation of client design briefs in conjunction with other relevant teams in Aldar. Participate in prequalification process and assist and oversee assessments of consultant. Assist and oversee the Brief and the Scope sections of the RFP in conjunction with the other relevant teams in Aldar. Update the Project Implementation Plan for each master planning project. Carry out weekly and monthly reporting of progress and issues to the line manager. DURING THE MASTER PLAN Participate in master planning presentations and review all master plan-related submittals from pre-concept to final detailed master plan delivery. Administer, where necessary, the consultant contract in relation to contract implementation, measuring completed work for payments, variation orders, etc. Manage the master plan progress against the programme. Review master plan documentation for the purpose of validating brief/code compliance. Ensure adherence to Estidama standards. Liaise with consultants and ensure that all drawing submittals are in line with Aldar specifications. Review consultants' work submittals against the project brief and recommend changes in case of deviation. Ensure that an adequate level of support is provided to project teams during execution and commissioning through master plan reviews. Ensure that all master plan changes are clearly communicated to the other relevant teams and related functions to be reflected in the forecasts. Provide an adequate level of support to the relevant department in scoping various tenders. Related Years of Experience: Min of 6+ years of experience in master plan process for developments with CAPEX 2+ billion AED. Sector of Experience: Real estate sector, construction. Technical and Interpersonal Skills: Good exposure to GCC region and adjacent markets preferred. Good track record in real estate developments. Excellent master plan capabilities. Strong conflict resolution/management skills. Strong team player with ability to balance conflicting priorities and take timely decisions. Excellent analytical skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Qualifications: Bachelor degree in architecture or engineering or urban design/ master planning. #J-18808-Ljbffr
