Head of infrastructure

Black Stone e IT is seeking a Head of Infrastructure to lead our IT infrastructure team and oversee the design, implementation, and management of all infrastructure-related initiatives. In this leadership role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the technological landscape of our organization, ensuring that our infrastructure is robust, secure, and aligned with strategic business goals.Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement the infrastructure strategy in alignment with the company's objectives Lead and manage the infrastructure team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations Design and oversee the deployment of scalable, high-availability infrastructure solutions Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of servers, networks, and cloud services Establish best practices for infrastructure management, including monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement of hardware and software Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and technology initiatives Stay current with technology trends and developments to enhance infrastructure capabilities Implement IT governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks Develop and manage infrastructure budgets and resource allocation Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role Proven experience in designing and managing complex IT infrastructures Strong knowledge of networking, servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) Expertise in IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments Proven ability to manage budgets and optimize costs Professional certifications such as ITIL, TOGAF, or similar are preferred Benefits Paid Time Off Performance Bonus Training & Development Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Black Stone e IT by 2x Get notified about new Head of Infrastructure jobs in Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates .
