Rigger
Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Rigger with ADNOC-approved certification to safely perform rigging activities on-site in compliance with ADNOC standards and project-specific lifting plans. The rigger will be responsible for the safe movement and securing of heavy loads using cranes and lifting equipment, ensuring all operations meet safety and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Perform rigging and lifting tasks in accordance with ADNOC safety standards and procedures. Inspect and prepare rigging equipment (slings, shackles, chains, hooks, etc.) prior to use. Signal crane operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and placement of materials. Follow detailed lift plans and work closely with lifting supervisors and engineers. Secure loads properly and ensure balanced lifting and movement. Maintain clear communication with team members during all lifting operations. Identify and report any equipment defects or safety hazards immediately. Comply with all HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) requirements on-site. Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and permit-to-work processes. Support other site activities as directed by the supervisor. Requirements: Valid ADNOC-approved Rigger Level 1 or Level 2 Certificate (mandatory). Proven experience as a Rigger in oil & gas, construction, or industrial projects. Strong knowledge of lifting techniques, load charts, and rigging equipment. Ability to read and follow lift plans and technical instructions. Good physical condition and ability to work in challenging environments. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
