Computer and Information Engineering Associate Professor Positions Description: Khalifa University and the College of Computing and Mathematical Sciences seek applicants for several faculty positions at the Associate Professor level in the Department of Computer and Information Engineering. We seek applicants who will strengthen our research and education programs in core and emerging areas of computer and information engineering including but not limited to: Networking Robotics Digital design and FPGA prototyping Neuromorphic computing and hardware accelerators for AI Quantum computing Preferential consideration will be given to applicants with academic experience at the Assistant Professor level and with a strong portfolio in research, teaching, and service. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline Record of excellence in research commensurate with the applicant's academic career Record of excellence in teaching appropriate to the applicant's academic experience Record of successful graduate student supervision Record of success in securing and managing funded research projects Additional Qualifications: Outstanding publication record in top journals and conferences in the applicant's research areas Outstanding communication skills, collaborative mindset, and commitment to academic excellence and innovation Demonstrated commitment to curriculum development and innovation in university education Interest in entrepreneurship and technology transfer Application Process: Interested candidates should submit an application package including: Cover letter Up-to-date CV with Scopus link and h-index Research statement with a concise future research plan (max 2 pages) Teaching statement with a curriculum development plan (max 2 pages) Applications must be submitted via the Khalifa University careers portal.
