Key Responsibilities: Gift Card Programme: Develop and manage the mall’s gift card programme to drive sales and footfall across key retail and dining categories. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., finance, IT, guest services) to ensure seamless operations, tracking, and customer experience. Identify and implement promotional campaigns to boost gift card uptake during key seasons (e.g., holidays, sales periods). Forge partnerships with corporates and concierge services to promote bulk or incentive-based gift card purchases. Monitor and report regularly on gift card performance including sales, redemption rates, and category spend. Ensure the digital and physical redemption process is user-friendly, secure, and aligned with brand standards. Provide guest services and frontline staff with adequate training and briefing materials to support the programme. Creative Agency Management: Lead the briefing process for creative and campaign deliverables, ensuring clarity of objectives, timelines, and KPIs. Manage relationships with creative, branding agencies, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and mall objectives. Coordinate internal feedback loops and approvals to maintain momentum and meet production timelines. Monitor agency output for quality, consistency, and brand compliance across all platforms. Ensure cost efficiency by negotiating scopes of work, managing budgets, and tracking deliverables against cost estimates. Facilitate regular performance reviews with agency partners to optimise future output. Maintain a roster of vetted suppliers and creative vendors, sourcing new partners as needed for specialised projects. Tourism: Plan and execute tourism marketing initiatives with strategic tourism partners. Identify and expand the tourism partner network by attending tourism related meetings, seminars, conventions, exhibitions, and workshops to. Design, develop and conduct familiarisation programmes with tourism partners create awareness and provide an excellent experience. Monitor the partner agencies’ performance and provide monthly/quarterly reports Maintain ongoing communications with partners about upcoming events, new store opening, and VIP guest services. Explore and secure joint marketing promotional opportunities with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) to drive tourism objectives. Promotions: Work closely with Head of Marketing to develop marketing strategies and promotional campaigns. Explore and secure new third-party partnership opportunities Identify and implement e-coupon suppliers to monitor and measure campaign success and also enhance customer experience. Analyse market research and plan promotions, competitions or others based on the research results. Loyalty Programmer: Develop and maintain customer loyalty programmers: Manage and grow the existing VIP Pass programmer by securing additional retailer/partner offers and minimising costs. Work closely with Head of Marketing to develop a longevity programmer such as Gift Cards. external parties i.e. office employees, hotels and community groups. Explore barter deal opportunities with retailers to save on marketing/operational costs. Monitor and ensure that all retailer offers and activities are communicated effectively across appropriate media platforms. Reports: Submit all relevant retailer feedback and analysis of results for post event. Track and monitor expense with all related vendors. Performance Indicators Gift Card Program Increase in year-on-year gift card sales volume and value. Uptake of gift cards during campaigns and promotional periods. Growth in corporate gift card partnerships or bulk purchases. Customer satisfaction scores related to gift card purchase and redemption experience. Positive feedback from retailers regarding uplift in spend driven by gift card usage. Creative Agency Management: Timely delivery of campaigns and creative assets according to briefed timelines. Consistent on-brand execution across campaigns, platforms, and customer touchpoints. Cost savings achieved through efficient scope and budget management. Positive internal stakeholder feedback on agency collaboration and creative quality. Completion of agency performance reviews at defined intervals (e.g., quarterly/bi-annually). Availability and quality of up-to-date agency roster with documented capabilities and specialisms. Tourism: Establishment of a solid network of tour operators and international travel agencies ROI on tourism initiatives in partnership with external tourism agencies Increase in visitation from key markets Increase in sales and/or footfall from tourism initiatives Promotions: Signed partnerships Implementation of e-coupon software and subsequent use in promotions and campaigns Loyalty Program: Increase in VIP Pass retailer/partner participation Increase number of VIP Pass card holders Growth in sales due to VIP Pass Reports: Timely submission of reports as per indicted dates. Accuracy of reports – ensuring that all relevant information is captured as well as over and above additional details that would add value. Submit invoices with all supporting documents to ensure that the vendor delivered qualified services. JOB REQUIREMENTS Level of Work (Describe the complexity, decision-making and impact, responsibility for strategy and development, supervision or other requirements for this position) • The Marketing Manager works closely with the Head of Marketing to plan and execute creative strategies, gift card promotions and tourism strategies with the aim to drive footfall and sales to the mall. This role is highly operational and results-oriented and requires strong communication and negotiation skills when dealing with strategic partners.
