Service Technician – NAVCOM

Install marine navigation equipment including but not limited to radar, sonar, gyrocompasses, autopilots, ECDIS, GMDSS, etc. Perform predictive, preventive, and emergency maintenance of NAVCOM equipment. Be competent with marine equipment and integrated systems in line with experience and qualifications. Maintain diagnostic and operational tools, support, and test equipment. Perform troubleshooting and timely repairs. Have sound knowledge of spares and list requirements as per project needs. Carry out correct isolation and disconnection procedures. Climb antenna support structures to various heights for maintenance and installation of antenna systems. Respond promptly to problems according to approved procedures. Maintain logs of faults, resolutions, and maintenance. Keep the work area clean and free of hazards within personal responsibility. Attend offshore jobs as required. Desired Candidate Profile Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, and Communication. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the marine field. Able to understand basic English and follow work instructions from clients, supervisors, and managers. GMDSS operator’s certificate is desirable. Basic math skills are required.
