Senior SCALE WMS Specialist

GAC is on the lookout for an experienced Senior SCALE WMS Specialist with knowledge of configuring and optimising Manhattan SCALE WMS to meet business and operational requirements. This role involves leading and conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members to ensure high-quality, efficient and maintainable code. The successful candidate will oversee testing/rollout to ensure seamless system implementation/updates and collaborate with external vendors/internal support teams to manage system patches, enhancements and ongoing system maintenance. About the job GAC is seeking an Senior SCALE WMS Specialist experienced in configuring and optimising Manhattan SCALE WMS to meet business needs. Responsibilities include leading code reviews, overseeing system testing and rollout, and collaborating with vendors and support teams for system maintenance. Key Responsibilities: System Configuration / Development Configure Manhattan SCALE WMS to align with GAC's operational requirements, focusing on third-party logistics (3PL) processes. Conduct technical analysis for migrating existing customers from legacy WMS to Manhattan SCALE WMS. Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop scalable WMS solutions. Develop well-documented custom code, including Exit Points, to extend WMS functionality. 2. Quality Deliverables Analyse and resolve issues related to WMS processes, performance, and data integrity. Participate in testing phases, identify issues early, and support UAT to validate system functionality. 3. Maintenance and Support Provide expert-level support (L3) for Manhattan SCALE WMS. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for system issues. Document common issues and resolutions in a knowledge base. Requirements 5+ years of hands-on experience with Manhattan SCALE WMS, including 3PL configurations. 7+ years in software development with object-oriented programming (C# or Java preferred). Experience configuring Manhattan SCALE for high-volume and complex scenarios. Proficiency in SQL Server or other RDBMS, RESTful API development, Git. Knowledge of CI/CD, Dev Ops tools, Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with Azure Cloud platforms is a plus. Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
