The Health Representative is responsible for maximizing the sales of products through various sales & promotion activities within a specific geographic territory in UAE. His/her promotional focus (i.e., Rx sales targets) will be on creating a better customer experience. Tasks are performed under the general direction of the Sales/Category Manager; however, the incumbent is fully responsible for the business and financial results of his or her geographical territory. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Engage in science-based promotional messaging where the product supports healthcare professionals in meeting patient needs. Focus on broader content (e.g., disease states). Serve as the key point of contact for compliant, reactive interactions with Pfizer SMEs and resources. Onboard customers to new operating models and platforms (e.g., Digital Engagement Portal). Understand customer preferences for content and channels to deliver an optimal customer experience through relevant content. Visit physicians to assist them in managing their patients' diseases using Pfizer products. Distribute knowledge via guidelines, samples, marketing literature, and clinical trials to help healthcare professionals make informed decisions. Follow up with healthcare professionals (HCPs) such as KOLs, physicians, pharmacists, etc., to gather feedback and answer questions about Pfizer products. Provide approved information on Pfizer products, including usage, dosage, and side effects. Assist in enlisting Pfizer products in institutional formularies. Provide feedback to sales management regarding customer requests, responses to promotions, product access, and changes in the healthcare system or hospital structure. Participate in pre-marketing campaign preparations by providing market and customer insights. Monitor stock, consumption, and ordering processes, especially in government sectors and institutions. Participate in community awareness programs and attend seminars, sales demonstrations, and exhibitions. Organize audiovisual activities in the territory. Initiate and participate in the nomination and selection of local speakers. Report visits and activities using ECMS. Attend sales meetings, general meetings, and cycle meetings. Prepare short-term plans (POA) focused on his/her area and products. Present reports as per manager’s recommendations and market needs. Update customer lists based on segmentation and insights. Understand customer disease management needs and maintain relationships with advocates aligned to customer priorities. Handle all customer communications related to business. Execute activities such as conferences, workshops, and medical department initiatives to engage customers. Prepare monthly sales and activity reports, including market feedback, threats, and opportunities. Participate in setting and executing engagement plans and explore new business opportunities to expand territory reach. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS Works closely with colleagues across the Gulf region and interacts well with: Customer administration departments: stores, purchasing, finance Opinion leaders and field experts Service providers and competitors EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Fresh graduate or less than 2 years' experience as a Health/Medical Representative. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related life sciences. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry is required; experience as a Health Rep is advantageous. TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Strong written and verbal communication skills. Effective interpersonal, persuasive, and negotiation skills; adaptable to change. Proficient in selling, presentation, and analytical skills. Computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word). Demonstrate future Customer Facing Colleague competencies: customer focus, managing complexity, influencing with insights, driving value-based interactions, orchestrating, embracing data and technology.
